The ACOG LARC Program, managed by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, aims to reduce unintended pregnancy in the U.S by providing information and guidance on the most effective, long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) methods, the contraceptive implant and intrauterine devices (IUDs), as well as increasing access to the full range of contraceptive methods. ACOG features the most recent clinical guidelines, webinars, clinician education and training, and patient resources to better inform clinicians and patients about LARCs.
Although the ACOG LARC materials are available to non-members at no costs, providers can become members of ACOG for additional benefits, including access to publications and educational activities at a discounted rate. Application fees and annual dues apply. Click here for more information.
