The UCSF Bixby Center works to ensure that women, men and adolescents have the power to manage their health, including access to safe and effective birth control, abortion, childbirth, and prevention and care for sexually transmitted infections.   • Intrauterine Devices and Implants: A Guide to Reimbursement: This guide offers health providers information to navigate patient coverage, stocking and reimbursement for long-activing reversible contraception (LARC). This is a joint project of the Bixby Center, ACOG, NFPHRA, NWLC, and NHeLP.
  • Research: The Bixby Center conducts research in a variety of areas, including abortion, family planning, HIV/AIDS, pregnancy and childbirth, and adolescent sexual health.
